It uses natural yeasts and ferments in open containers for wines to be aged, while to maintain the primary fruit it prefers steel tanks. The aging takes place in large barrels selected with artisan coopers. The wines have aromas of ripe cherries, berries, peppery spices, chocolate and tobacco, with a marked freshness and elegant tannins. The Ruhne family, active in Chianti Classico since 1988, has certified the vineyards organically since 2014.
