Composed of Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes, it comes from south-east exposed soils, located at about 300 m above sea level, rich in Alberese and limestone on a clay base. The harvest takes place at the right degree of ripeness, with maceration on the skins for 18-20 days and fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature. After 12 months of maturation in barrels and second and third passage barriques, the wine ages in the bottle for 4 months.
