Little by little, with medals and awards, he has made a name for himself and brought the entire Jurançon appellation with him. The 43 hectares of vineyards produce around 250,000 bottles of this golden wine each year, made mainly from two grape varieties, Petit Manseng (for sweet wines) and Gros Manseng (for top-quality dry and sweet wines). The vines are perched 500 metres above sea level, between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic (here we are very close to Pau, 100 km from Biarritz and 60 km from Spain). They also benefit from a climate that combines mountain rigour and maritime mildness. The winds sweep across the site. The high-quality soil is a precious mixture of clay, pebbles and silica that allows the vines to express their potential with nobility. The wines, with the freshness typical of the region, reveal explosive aromas of cooked apple, mirabella plum, fruit paste, wild medlars.","brand":"Domaine Cauhape","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46746812809552,"sku":"FR3471","price":17.5,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0611\/6157\/0478\/products\/jurancon-ballet-doctobre-2005-domaine-cauhape-394785.jpg?v=1684460709","url":"https:\/\/rarest-wines.com\/en-int\/products\/copy-of-jurancon-ballet-doctobre-2005-domaine-cauhape","provider":"Rarest Wines","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
