It is then aged in bottle for at least 2 years before being released for sale. Serve in large glasses at a temperature of 18-20°C. To fully appreciate this wine's qualities, uncork it at least 1 hour before serving. It pairs beautifully with all traditional Tuscan first courses, including tortelli with ragù and wild boar, and meat-based main courses. It is also excellent as an aperitif.
