  • Etna Rosso – 2014 – Tenuta delle Terre Nere

    Label: Perfect
    Caps: Perfect
    Level: Within the neck
    Color: Perfect

Tenuta delle Terre Nere was the brilliant intuition with which Marco de Grazia, former exporter and consultant of fine wines, found himself in Randazzo for the first time and was conquered by the naturalness of the slopes of Etna. He understands the potential but also the taste subtleties in which Nerello is declined according to the various sub-areas. This blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio have been certified organic since 2010. Tenuta delle Terre Nere’s Etna is enriched with complexity and finesse as it ages for a wine to be enjoyed throughout the meal.

The 2006 Pecorino is characterized by a yellow color with golden reflections. The scent is mineral, warm with hints of ripe fruit such as pineapple and banana and a clear hint of licorice. The typical acidity of Pecorino is decidedly blunted by time and has evolved into a honeyy flavor reminiscent of chestnuts and hazelnuts.
