The flavor is intense, velvety with a hint of wild berries in the finish.

Cru della Ferla, cru della Beccaccia and cru della Lepre with their different characteristics give three different wines that with the skilful blend of Firriato offer a glass with an intense ruby red color, the other red fruit aromas remind us of chocolate, pepper and nutmeg.     We are located in the western Sicilian area, about 100 meters above sea level with a predominantly clayey-limestone terroir. The region is characterized by little rainfall during the year and this area is particularly windy. It was a great job of recovery for this almost extinct native vine, so much so that the Firriato Clone was created. The fresh and overwhelming tannins enhance the elegance and sumptuousness of this wine. Ripe and energetic fruit well balanced with its acidity.

    History has made Falerno wine a real character. It is produced with Aglianico and Piedirosso grapes harvested after careful selection in the hilly vineyards owned on volcanic soils with a good amount of phosphorus and potassium. The grapes are harvested no earlier than mid-October. Aging takes place in large barrels for about 12 months and then rests in the bottle for another year.

    Cantina del Taburno is located in a little known area of Campania, the Benevento area. It is part of the consortium of the Campania capital and with its 600ha of vineyards it is an important point of reference for the viticulture of the area but also for the economy. The cultivated lands have a marly, clayey and calcareous mixture. Fidelis is produced with only Aglianico harvested towards the end of October. The color is red with ruby reflections. The scent is of red fruits, tobacco and pepper. The taste is soft with well-blended tannins and spicy aromas.

    For the Casale del Giglio it can be defined as completely new because from the reclamation of the Agro Pontino, the area in which the company develops, different cultures were cultivated and tested until the right expression was found that would satisfy Antonio Santarelli who enters in the company in the 90s. This Lazio is a pure Merlot with low yields per hectare, a careful vinification that gives a good structure supported by soft and elegant tannins. It matures in small oak barrels.

    Grumello Valtellina Superiore – 1999 – Triacca

    Triacca is a Swiss company with possessions both in Valtellina and in Tuscany. They have been producers since the end of the 19th century. The great expansion took place in 1969 with the acquisition in Tuscany and the La Gatta estate in Bianzone with its 13ha of vineyards. This Nebbiolo grown in the Grumello area is aged for 24 months in large oak barrels. It has a ruby red color tending to garnet. The taste is dry and velvety with notes of strawberry and slightly tannic.
