    Gucciardini Strozzi has a thousand-year history in the wine field, well-known faces of history, such as Dante, Lorenzo Il Magnifico and Michelangelo Buonarotti mention it in their stories. We are in the Tuscan Maremma and the Strozzi family has always looked after this variety and has made its fortunes out of it. Mainly produced with Vernaccia grapes to which small sections of Chardonnay and Sauvignon are added. The color is yellow with clear golden reflections, the nose is fine with fruity and floral hints. The flavor is warm and structured with hints of acacia honey, dried hay and chamomile.

    Tenuta Alzatura is the latest acquisition of the Cecchi family which from Tuscany decides to start a new adventure in Umbria in the Sagrantino di Montefalco area. The nature of the land, the material used for the planting and the care in the vegetative phase have determined the ideal conditions for the birth of wines of great depth. 6000 bottles of this wine are produced. The color is ruby red with violet reflections, the nose is refined and complex with hints of blackberries, plums, leather and vanilla. On the palate it is intense and with a great structure.

    This Morellino di Scansano usually subjugated by more noble names has been awarded numerous awards in the last decade and 2016 in particular and among the wines with a score of over 90 points in “The best wines of Italy” by Luca Maroni. Produced with 85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cilegiolo on a hilly terrain formed by calcareous tuff. The color is ruby red with purple tendencies. The nose is very fine with immediate hints of vanilla. When tasted, the tannin is soft but very warm and enveloping.

    Tenuta Casabianca is spread over 650 hectares in the municipality of Murlo, in the province of Siena. The estate is divided into five estates in a setting of incredible beauty. Each choice both in the vineyard and in the cellar is made to improve the quality of its product with continuous investments. This Chianti Riserva from 2003 has a ruby red color with light garnet reflections. The nose is spicy with hints of carnation, cinnamon and juniper, the leather closes with a flourish. In the mouth it is intense and round, the tannin is decidedly velvety. This 2001 blend has a garnet red color, hints of black fruit and berries, tomato leaf and wild. In the mouth it is persuasive with hints of blueberry jam, vanilla, due to the short passage in cask, if you pay close attention you will be able to perceive a herbaceous flavor due to the contribution of Merlot which gives elegance to this wine.
