Montevertine is located in the heart of the Chianti hills, in the municipality of Radda in Chianti at an altitude of 425 meters. In Montevertine simplicity, respect, attention to every detail and savoir-faire are the guide of every day. Our vinification method is extremely traditional and is always the same used since the first harvests. The hand-picked grapes are fermented in vitrified concrete tanks, without temperature control and carrying out two daily pumping over to keep the pomace cap wet and obtain a slow extraction of tannins from the skins.
