Red wine with great structure and elegance for long aging. The “Vigna Monticchio” is located on the Brufa hill at 300 meters above sea level with exposure to the West-South West and has a surface area of 15 hectares of which only 10 have been used to produce the Rubesco Riserva “Vigna Monticchio”. It is of lake origin and has a notable pedological variability: clayey fringes alternate with sandy fringes, the latter more frequent in the lower part of the vineyard. It leaves intense notes of sour cherry, small red fruits, licorice, cinnamon and a mineral undertone of refined elegance. From the attack it appears powerful, of great concentration and releases a clear reference to red jam, closing in a finish with particularly persistent tannins.
