Cantina Boasso Franco is a historic winery located in the heart of the Barolo appellation, in Serralunga d'Alba. Founded in the 1950s by Giuseppe Boasso, the company saw significant expansion in the 1980s, when, together with his son Franco, he began producing his own wine, using grapes from the family vineyards. Today, the company manages seven hectares of vineyards, including the prestigious Gabutti and Margheria crus, known for their ideal exposure and soil composition for growing Nebbiolo. Annual production is around 30,000 bottles, including Barolo, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, Roero Arneis and Moscato d'Asti. The winery uses traditional methods, with long macerations and aging in wooden barrels for at least 36 months, producing wines that faithfully reflect the terroir of Serralunga.
