The Cantina L'Astemia Pentita is an innovative winery located in the heart of the Langhe, in Barolo. Founded in 2007 by Sandra Vezza, an entrepreneur known for having relaunched the design brand Gufram, the winery takes its name which means "the repentant teetotaler", reflecting the life change of the founder who, from teetotaler, has become a wine producer. The architecture of the winery, designed by the architect Gianni Arnaudo, is characterized by two overlapping volumes that recall two large wine crates, harmoniously integrating into the surrounding landscape. The production focuses on unique labels, such as the Barolo DOCG Cannubi and the Barolo DOCG Terlo, using native vines such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Nascetta. The winery offers a complete sensory experience, combining winemaking tradition and contemporary design, paying homage to the territory of the Langhe.
