This wine has a ruby red color and purple reflections. On the nose it offers a harmonious scent of red fruits, such as blueberry and cherry, enriched by floral and slightly spicy notes. The taste is tannic, broad and balanced, with a long fruity aftertaste. Composed of Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes, it comes from south-east exposed soils, located at about 300 m above sea level, rich in Alberese and limestone on a clay base. The harvest takes place at the right degree of ripeness, with maceration on the skins for 18-20 days and fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature. After 12 months of maturation in barrels and second and third passage barriques, the wine ages in the bottle for 4 months. Serve it at 18°C and pair it with first courses with ragù, grilled meats and fresh cheeses for a perfect gastronomic experience.
