The history of the Cinuzzi family starts in Siena around the middle of 1400 and arrives, nowadays, in Rome. The family crest is still present in the council room of the Municipality of Siena, as the Cinuzzi are direct descendants of Marcantonio Cinuzzi, a poet member of the Accademia degli Intronati and son of Mariano, heir of a noble family, registered in the “monte” of gentlemen. Centuries and generations have passed since then, but the family has remained inextricably linked to Castellinuzza and the production of Chianti Classico wine.
