Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is produced only in the best years, in a limited edition. An almost pure Sangiovese with Canaiolo and Malvasia nera (2%) for the emblematic wine of the Lamolese territory.
After vinification, it ages for three years in large 22Hl oak barrels.
The nose is intense and rich, with notes of ripe red fruits, undergrowth and menthol aromas and a more accentuated spiciness. The sip is broad and enveloping with soft and smooth tannins.
