Maison Camille Giroud is a commercial Burgundy winery based in Beaune, the heart of the region. The winery owns just one hectare of vineyards, with the vast majority of its wines made from grapes sourced from fruit or wine sales and contract growers located throughout the greater Burgundy region. This includes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines from famous vineyards including Chambertin, Corton, Echezeaux and Clos de Vougeot. Camille Giroud was purchased by a consortium of producers led by Ann Colgin of California's Colgin Cellars. Annual production was cut and winemaking methods underwent wholesale changes to produce a softer, more modern style of wine - as well as a more consistent level of quality.
