Macon - 2004 - Maison Chausseron
Rarely encountered due to the proliferation of more regionally specific (and often well-known) titles, Mâcon is the generic title for red, white and rosé wines from across the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy. Red wines sold under the generic Mâcon designation can be made from either Pinot Noir or Gamay, although most feature the latter grape variety since those made from Pinot Noir can also be labeled with the more prestigious Bourgogne AOC designation.
