The monastic history was interrupted in 1792 and the property was purchased by the Corinaldi counts, who built new structures and started a renowned wine production. During the First World War, the Lispida Castle was the headquarters of King Vittorio Emanuele III. In the 1950s, the company resumed its winemaking activity with new vineyards and traditional methods. In the vineyards, work between the rows is full of experiences and emotions that contribute to creating wines with a unique flavor. The soil is not worked nor chemical herbicides or fertilizers are used. The grass is cut and left in place. Around 100 nests for birds, insects and bats have been placed on the company, which favor the growth and maturation of the grapes.
