Cannubi is the Grand Cru of Barolo, renowned for its style and elegance. The quality of the grapes from the Cannubi hill comes from the composition of the soil: grey-whitish clay marl and a high percentage of sand (up to 45%), which gives intense aromas of cherry, plum, tobacco, rose and violet. The soil, rich in calcium and magnesium but poor in potassium, gives finesse and elegance to the wine. Ruby-garnet red in color with few orange highlights, the wine has a broad and enveloping aroma with notes of cherry, plum, tobacco, licorice and cocoa. On the palate it is harmonious, dry, with soft tannins and sensations of body and fullness.
