Jakot - 2001 - Radikon
Jakot di Radikon is an extraordinary macerated wine, obtained from Friulano grapes grown on marl and sandstone soils typical of Collio. The Radikon winery, led by Saša and his family, is famous for having revolutionized viticulture in Friuli Venezia Giulia with the production of long-maceration whites. Jakot, aged for 42 months in oak barrels and 18 months in the bottle without the addition of sulphites, offers a unique profile. Notes of dried fruit and honey emerge on the nose, while on the palate it is full-bodied, with a fresh vitality and hints of almond and tropical fruit. An authentic and innovative wine.
