Avignonesi’s legendary Tuscan wine, In Grandi Annate, is produced exclusively in the best years, when the ideal conditions are created for a pure Sangiovese, characterized by structure, character and aging potential. Each year, the grapes from the Sangiovese vineyards are harvested and vinified separately to identify the parcels that offer the most interesting expression of the terroir. To faithfully capture the essence of the vintage, the In Grandi Annate blend varies each year. The sediment present in the wine indicates that it is made with minimal intervention, highlighting the high presence of quercetin, a perfectly safe natural antioxidant. This deposit is not a defect, but a distinctive characteristic of pure Sangiovese.
