Barolo "Bussia Riserva" - 2019 - Cantina Stroppiana
Barolo DOCG Bussia Riserva is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It comes from Helvetian and calcareous soils, with sandstone, located in the Bussia area of Monforte d'Alba, with an annual production of about 1800 bottles. The wine is distinguished by a ruby red color with garnet reflections and a rich and deep aroma, which reveals hints of undergrowth, sweet spices, tobacco and cocoa, enriched over time by notes of white truffle and goudron. On the palate, it is dry, powerful and velvety, with well-balanced tannins. The long persistence and the enveloping and warm aftertaste enhance its complexity.
