Located in the Entre-deux-Mers, on the right bank of Bordeaux, Château Marjosse dates back to 1782. Initially owned by the wine merchant Bernard Chénier, Château Marjosse was then acquired by the Deleuze family, who leased some of the parcels to Pierre Lurton in 1990. It was in 1992 that Pierre Lurton, who grew up on the Reynier estate, near the beautiful Chartreuse, moved to Château Marjosse, gradually acquiring various parts of the Deleuze family's property. In 2000, Pierre Lurton built a state-of-the-art cellar containing more than 40 concrete vats, before becoming the owner of the entire 40-hectare vineyard in 2013.
