Château Villars wines owe their personality to the clay and limestone soils. While the clay gives them strength and depth, the limestone does a great job of regulating the water supply available to the vine. This is the flagship wine, aged 100% in French oak barrels. 20 hectares of vineyards are dedicated to its production, consisting of the oldest vines of the estate. This Villars is well developed with red fruits and exotic spices on the nose. The attack in the mouth is sweet and flexible at the same time. The fat of the texture covers ripe tannins that ensure a good presence on the finish, in the company of notes of fresh fruit and wood.
