Domaine de Villeneuve Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes is an extraordinary wine produced from an 8.4-hectare vineyard located in the north of the appellation. The vines, which are between 40 and over 100 years old, have been grown using certified organic and biodynamic practices since 1998. Composed of 70% Grenache, 16% Mourvèdre, 8% Syrah, 4% Cinsault and 2% Clairette, this wine reflects the richness of the terroir, characterized by red clays, silts and pebbles of the Rhone, which give complexity and depth. Production is limited to 20-25 hectoliters per hectare, ensuring superior quality. The harvest is manual, followed by gentle pressing and aging for 18-24 months in concrete vats, which preserves freshness and aromatic intensity. The result is an elegant, structured and authentic wine, perfect for lovers of great Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
