Chianti Classico is a wine obtained from selected Sangiovese grapes, with a small addition of Canaiolo, hand-picked between the second half of September and the beginning of October. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, it ages in 30 hl oak barrels for about 20 months, with subsequent assembly in cement tanks before bottling, which takes place 4-6 months later. It has a ruby red color with garnet reflections and a fruity aroma of cherry and ripe fruit. On the palate it is well-structured, balanced, savory and persistent. Excellent with roast meats and game birds.
