Chianti Classico Riserva Tagliafune 2015 by Villa Montepaldi is a highly prestigious wine, from a single vineyard that expresses the typical characteristics of Chianti, ideal for significant aging. On the nose, it reveals aromas of red fruits and notes of cocoa, while on the palate it is complex, rich and elegant, with a notable structure, as per the Chianti Classico tradition. This wine is obtained from a blend of Sangiovese grapes (80%) with small percentages of Cabernet, Merlot, Alicante and Colorino, and ages for at least 21 months in wooden barrels, followed by 3 months in the bottle. With an alcohol content of 14.5% and produced in a 900-year-old company, located 256 meters above sea level in the heart of Chianti, it pairs perfectly with meat dishes, cured meats, aged cheeses and game.
