Rosso Toscana - 2001 - Tenuta Casabianca
Tenuta Casabianca extends over 650 hectares in the municipality of Murlo, in the province of Siena. The estate is divided into five farms in a setting of incredible beauty. Every choice both in the vineyard and in the cellar is made to improve the quality of its product with continuous investments. This 2003 Chianti reserve has a ruby red color with light garnet reflections. On the nose it is spicy with hints of cloves, cinnamon and juniper, the leather closes beautifully. In the mouth it is intense and round, the tannin is decidedly velvety. This 2001 blend has a garnet red color, hints of black fruit and berries, tomato leaf and wild. In the mouth it is persuasive with hints of blueberry jam, vanilla, due to the short passage in barrel, if you pay close attention you can perceive a herbaceous flavor due to the contribution of Merlot which gives elegance to this wine.
