The Piero Selection was created to pay homage to the work of Pierluigi Talenti who over the years has selected and worked with passion the Sangiovese. A vineyard of 1.95Ha located not far from the company center, with unique soil and climate characteristics, stands out from all the other vineyards for its characteristics of constant quality. The slightly sloping land surrounded by woods, rich in galestro with a south-east position at an altitude of 410 meters above sea level, where Pierluigi in the 70s followed and grew his personal clonal selection.
