Château Cissac - 1990 - Haut Medoc
Château Cissac is a renowned wine estate in the Haut-Médoc, known for its grand vin classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. With around 100 hectares of vineyards located between Cissac and the surrounding woods, 70% are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, while Merlot and Petit Verdot make up 22% and 8% respectively. The terroir, characterized by sandy gravel soil overlaid with clay and limestone, provides ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvesting is done both manually and mechanically, and these varietals are expertly blended to create balanced and complex wines.
