Gran Selezione Effe'55 is a Chianti Classico produced in Castellina in Chianti, in the Casanuova di Pietrafitta vineyards. Coming from old vines from the 1970s, it offers a complex sensory experience. The aromas are reminiscent of small red fruits, such as Marasca cherries in alcohol, with nuances of chocolate and well-integrated woody notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and powerful, with an elegant tannic texture, balanced acidity and minerality that guarantee a fresh and long finish. Stabilized with natural methods and only lightly filtered, it may present natural sediments that do not alter the taste of the wine.
