Chianti Classico Riserva - 2016 - The Poggiolino
The Poggiolino farm was founded in the mid-twentieth century, but its history is rooted in the past with origins in the town of Badia a Passignano. The Villa was founded at the beginning of the twentieth century as a country residence of a Florentine gentleman. The years passed and in 1974 it was purchased by Carlo Pacini. The great passion for nature and sensitivity towards the territory have meant that two generations have followed one another always with a great desire to create a special wine. With these assumptions the company has grown by expanding its corporate body which today extends for about 25 hectares divided into vineyards, olive groves, and woods. Fruity with finesse integrated with the wood that must not prevail but accompany and support its structure, consistency and persistence.
