Castello di Meleto is a historic residence located in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany. The first evidence dates back to the 11th century, when the castle was owned by the Badia di Coltibuono. Over time, it has undergone several transformations, going from a military fortification to a noble residence in the 18th century. Today, the estate extends over 1,000 hectares, of which 180 are dedicated to viticulture, producing mainly Sangiovese for Chianti Classico. In addition to the cellar, the castle offers a complete experience with guided tours, tastings of its fine wines and a restaurant offering typical Tuscan dishes, all immersed in a breathtaking landscape.
