The Trinoro Domes - 2005 - Trinoro Estate
Le Cupole is the estate's "Second Vin", obtained by blending the same Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes, coming from younger vines and deeper soils. The first harvest was obtained in 1995 and since then it has become a classic among the most accessible super-tuscans. Fermentation takes place in steel vats, while the refinement takes place in second and third passage barriques, followed by the final blending in cement tanks. The wine is characterized by its richness, with intense fruit, soft tannins and balsamic notes on the nose. It is very pleasant and accessible even at a young age
