This wine, taken from a batch of 2000 bottles bottled in the Produttori del Barbaresco - Italy cellar, was selected in the spring of 1994 by the master tasters of the Order of the Knights of the Truffle and Wines of Alba
Barbaresco DOCG, produced since 1958, represents an icon of quality and typicality, the result of 100% Nebbiolo grapes from different vineyards in the area of origin. Grown on clay-limestone soils with sandy veins, it undergoes fermentation in steel at 28°C with 24 days of maceration on the skins and daily pumping over, completing the malolactic fermentation. Aged in large 50 hl oak barrels and bottled in March, it pairs perfectly with egg pasta and white and red meat dishes.
