Barolo - 2020 - Virna Borgogno
This Barolo comes from several first-class vineyards located in the municipality of Barolo, such as Preda, Sarmassa and Cannubi, to enhance the unique organoleptic qualities of the medium-textured soils of this area. Each vineyard is vinified separately to preserve its distinctive characteristics, with the blending taking place only before bottling. Although it is a classic blended Barolo, it stands out for its complexity, the result of the excellent selected parcels. Thanks to the south/east exposure and the clay-sandy soils, balsamic and mentholated notes emerge, accompanied by precise and well-defined tannins, all while maintaining a lively freshness.
