Barolo "San Lorenzo" - 2020 - Daniele Pelassa Farm
Barolo San Lorenzo comes from the vineyards of the historic San Lorenzo Cru in the municipality of Verduno. The vinification follows traditional methods with fermentation for 15-20 days at 26°C, after destemming and soft pressing. The must is pumped over with the délastage system to maximize the extraction of color and aromas. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in Slavonian and French oak tonneaux with weekly topping up. Barolo San Lorenzo is distinguished by velvety and elegant tannins, expressing the refinement of Verduno wines with hints of spices and rose petals. It is rich and refined, with excellent aging potential.
