Bas Armagnac Hors D'Age - Dartigalongue
Armagnac Dartigalongue, located in Nogaro, Bas Armagnac, France, is an Armagnac producer founded in the 19th century by Pascal Dartigalongue. It remains a family business, now led by Benoit Hillion. It uses three main grape varieties: Ugni Blanc (apple and pear notes), Baco 22A (length and structure) and Folle Blanche (elegance and floral notes). After fermentation, the base wines are distilled in a traditional continuous still and aged in oak barrels. Aromas of vanilla, plums, toasted oak, yellow fruit notes. Nice length in the mouth that ends on gourmet and spicy notes. A very easy to appreciate Armagnac.
