Lalande de Pomerol is a renowned wine region located in the Bordeaux region of France. Located on the right bank of the Dordogne, this area is famous for producing high-quality red wines. Characterized by a unique terroir, the vineyards of Lalande de Pomerol extend over clay and sandy soils, enriched with gravel, which gives the wines a remarkable complexity. The red wines of Lalande de Pomerol are predominantly Merlot, with additions of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination gives the wines an elegant structure and an aromatic profile rich in red fruits, spices and earthy notes. The maturation in oak barrels helps to emphasize the finesse and balance of the wines.
