A company founded two centuries ago and a forerunner of modern winemaking in western Sicily. They began producing high-quality Marsala at the beginning of 1800 and then expanded their range with native products, such as Nero d'Avola, which were then exported to the Anglo-Saxon market. Baglio Hopps is now one of the most important companies on the island and a stop on many wine tours.
