Es ist ein önologisches Meisterwerk, das die Tradition und Innovation des venezianischen Weinguts repräsentiert. Masi, ein Synonym für Exzellenz in der Amarone-Produktion, bietet eine einzigartige Version dieses berühmten Weins an, der aus einem respektvollen Umgang mit der Natur und ihren Phasen entsteht. Der Jahrgang 2018, das Ergebnis einer sorgfältigen Auswahl von Corvina-, Rondinella- und Molinara-Trauben, stammt von Weinbergen an den Hängen des Valpolicella, die sich durch mineralreiche Böden und eine optimale Sonneneinstrahlung auszeichnen. Der Name "Costasera" bezieht sich auf die nach Westen ausgerichteten Hänge, wo die untergehende Sonne den Trauben eine optimale Reifung beschert. Nach der manuellen Ernte werden die Trauben monatelang im Trockenraum getrocknet, wobei die traditionelle Methode des Appassimento angewendet wird, die Zucker, Aromen und Struktur konzentriert. Die Reifung erfolgt in Eichenfässern, was dem Wein Komplexität und Tiefe verleiht.
