Der Amarone della Valpolicella von Dal Moro ist ein intensiver und strukturierter Rotwein, der aus der Veroneser Tradition der Appassimento-Technik entsteht. Diese Technik konzentriert Aromen und Rohmaterial und bringt einen reichen und umhüllenden Wein hervor. Er präsentiert sich in einem tiefen Rubinrot, das zu Granat tendiert, während er in der Nase reife und komplexe Aromen von eingekochten roten Früchten wie Kirsche und Pflaume bietet, begleitet von würzigen Noten, Kakao und leichten balsamischen Nuancen. I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
