The Barbaresco of Marchesi di Barolo is a historic wine of great elegance and high prestige, in the Herzen of the Piedmontese Langhe of a repräsentativsten Weingüter of the Italian wine tradition hergestellt wird. Hauptsächlich aus Nebbiolo-Trauben gewonnen, gehört dieser Barbaresco zu einem der klassischen Jahrgänge der späten 60er Jahre, der heute bei Liebhabern und Sammlern alter Weine sehr begehrt ist.

With an intensive granatroten color and orange reflex, the auf die long Reifung zurückzuführen are, entwickelt er a complex and entwickeltes Bouquet with Noten von welker Rose, Trockener Veilchen, reifer Kirsche, Gewürzen, Tabak, Leder, Unterholz und leichten balsamischen Nuancen. Am Gaumen feels so elegant, harmonious and structured, with fine, inzwischen samtigen Tanninen, guter Nachhaltigkeit und einem refined Gleichgewicht, typisch für large, reife Nebbiolo-Weine.

Der Jahrgang 1969 gilt als bedeutend für große piemontesische Rotweine mit langer Lagerfähigkeit, die sich über Jahrzehnte hinweg zu einer außergewöhnlichen aromatischen Komplexität entwickeln können. I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
