Der Barolo Massolino 2010 ist einer der besten Barolos der Welt. Er wird aus 100% Nebbiolo-Trauben hergestellt, der Boden ist mittelschwer und stark kalkhaltig. Die Weinbereitung erfolgt traditionell mit Gärung und langer Mazeration in Eichenbottichen bei einer Temperatur um 30°C; der Wein reift bis zu 30 Monate in großen slawonischen Eichenfässern und wird etwa ein Jahr lang in speziellen kühlen und dunklen Räumen in der Flasche verfeinert. In der Nase ist er tiefgründig, sehr breit, bietet vielfältige Aromen, unter denen rote Früchte, verbunden mit blumigen und würzigen Noten, vorherrschen. Am Gaumen ist er kraftvoll, reichhaltig und streng. Es ist ein Barolo, der die große Komplexität des Bodens von Serralunga d'Alba auf außergewöhnliche Weise zum Ausdruck bringt und ein perfekter Wein für eine lange Lagerung ist.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
