Der Barolo Bussia Vigna Pianpolvere 2015 ist ein Barolo mit starkem territorialem Charakter, der aus der Lage Pianpolvere in der Unterzone Bussia von Monforte d’Alba stammt, einem der geeignetsten und strukturiertesten Gebiete der Appellation.
Er präsentiert sich mit einer intensiven, leuchtenden granatroten Farbe, mit leichten orangefarbenen Reflexen, die sich mit der Entwicklung allmählich zeigen.
In der Nase ist er komplex, vielschichtig und raffiniert: Düfte von verwelkter Rose und Veilchen treten hervor, gefolgt von reifer Kirsche und Pflaume, dann tiefere Noten von Lakritz, Tabak, Leder und süßen Gewürzen. Mit der Sauerstoffzufuhr entwickeln sich balsamische, mineralische Akzente und leichte erdige Nuancen, die typisch für die Lage sind.
Im Mund ist er strukturiert, kraftvoll, aber harmonisch.
