Der Barolo Lecinquevigne von Damilano ist ein eleganter und komplexer Rotwein, der aus Nebbiolo-Trauben aus verschiedenen Gemeinden des Barolo-Gebiets gewonnen wird. Diese Besonderheit verleiht ihm eine große Ausgewogenheit zwischen Struktur und Finesse. Im Glas zeigt er eine entwickelte rubinrote Farbe mit granatroten Reflexen, während die Nase ein breites und raffiniertes Bouquet mit Noten von getrockneter Rose, Veilchen, Gewürzen, Tabak, Leder und leichten balsamischen Noten bietet, die typisch für die Entwicklung der Rebsorte sind. Am Gaumen ist er harmonisch mit präsenten, aber gut integrierten Tanninen, einer guten Frische, die den Trinkfluss unterstützt, und einem langen, anhaltenden Abgang mit würzigen und tertiären Rückmeldungen. Er kommt am besten zur Geltung, wenn er bei etwa 16-18 Grad serviert wird, möglichst nach einer kurzen Dekantierung, und passt perfekt zu strukturierten Gerichten wie Schmorbraten, Braten, Wild, reichhaltigen ersten Gängen wie Tajarin al Ragù oder Risotto al Tartufo und gereiften oder Blauschimmelkäse.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
