Der Brunello di Montalcino 2000 ist ein erlesener italienischer Wein, der von Biondi Santi hergestellt wird. Die Trauben stammen von den Weinbergen des historischen toskanischen Gutes, die zwischen 15 und 30 Jahre alt sind. Es ist ein Brunello, der 36 Monate lang streng in großen slowenischen Eichenfässern reift. Der Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2000 Biondi Santi zeigt sich im Glas in einem intensiven und leuchtenden Granatrot; in der Nase entfaltet er komplexe und tiefe Aromen von getrockneten Blumen wie verwelkten Rosen, Waldfrüchten und würzigen sowie balsamischen Nuancen. Am Gaumen ist er vollmundig und fein, mit gut integrierten Tanninen und immer noch einer angenehmen Frische. I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
