Im Glas präsentiert er sich in einem brillanten und leuchtenden Rubinrot. In der Nase zeigt er die reiche Typizität des besten Sangiovese, mit Aromen von reifer Kirsche, Sauerkirsche, kleinen roten Beerenfrüchten, blumigen und würzigen Noten, leichten Vanillenuancen. Am Gaumen ist er mittelschwer, mit einer gut integrierten Tanninstruktur und einer knackigen, ausdrucksstarken Frucht, die den Schluck harmonisch und ausgewogen macht. Der Abgang ist von guter Persistenz, mit einem angenehm frischen und mineralischen Ausklang. Ein großartiger Sangiovese mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
