Ein Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, der aus den historischen Weinbergen des Weinguts Castiglion del Bosco stammt, insbesondere aus der berühmten Vigna Capanna an der Nordwestseite von Montalcino: felsiger Boden und Galestro, der dem Wein Eleganz und Präzision verleiht. Das aromatische Profil bietet reife rote Früchte (Kirsche, Johannisbeere), begleitet von würzigen Aromen, einem Hauch von Kräutern und leichten balsamischen Noten von Veilchen und Tabak. Am Gaumen ist er harmonisch und solide: gut ausbalancierte Struktur, frische Säure und ausgewogene Tannine, mit einem sauberen und anhaltenden Abgang, eine Flasche, die jung genossen werden kann, sich aber mit ein paar Jahren Reife noch besser entfaltet.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
