Ein traditioneller und gut gemachter Brunello di Montalcino DOCG vom toskanischen Weingut Patrizia Cencioni: intensive, brillante rubinrote Farbe, mit einem olfaktorischen Profil, das von reifen roten Früchten, balsamischen Noten von mediterraner Macchia und tieferen Anklängen wie Tabak und Kakao dominiert wird. Am Gaumen ist er umhüllend, vollmundig und harmonisch, mit gut präsenten, aber seidigen Tanninen und einem angenehm anhaltenden Abgang. Es ist eine Flasche, die nicht das Extreme sucht, sondern vielmehr auf Ausgewogenheit und territoriale Ausdruckskraft abzielt.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
