Ein Brunello aus kleiner Produktion und mit aufrichtigem Profil, entstanden aus 100% Sangiovese im Weinberg von Castelnuovo dell’Abate und mit traditionellen Methoden von einem Familienweingut mit historischen Wurzeln in der Region hergestellt. Der Wein präsentiert sich mit einer intensiven rubinroten Farbe und einem Bouquet von roten Früchten (Kirsche, Johannisbeere), mediterranen Kräutern und einem leichten würzigen Anklang, während er am Gaumen einen direkten Geschmack, geschliffene Tannine und einen ausgewogenen, saftigen Abgang bietet. Er ist „menschlicher“ und trinkbarer als einige extremere Brunelli: Er strebt nicht nach Hyperkomplexität, sondern nach einem ehrlichen und angenehmen Ausdruck der Region.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
